Венгры Закарпатья недовольны сносом их символа
После того, как в Киеве снесли бюст Пушкину, привеленный в 1899 году из Санкт-Петербуга, пришел черед оскорбления и других этносов.
Жители города Мукачево обратились в прокуратуру после того, как
местные власти заменили их символ - орла-турула в замке Паланок - на украинский
трезубец.
Недоволен и официальный Будапешт. Глава МИД Венгрии Петер Сийярто пообещал, что посольству Украины выразят протест, а в администрации венгерского премьера напомнили, что их страна приняла почти миллион украинцев.
«Наша организация возмущена и осуждает этот варварский поступок... это плохо сказывается на украинско-венгерских отношениях, а также на положении венгров в Закарпатье», - заявили в венгерском обществе Закарпатья (KMKSZ), отметив, что решение принималось без консультации с ними, а к моменту, когда ответ KMKSZ на решение был подготовлен, «памятник уже остыл».
